... I've asked for a pair of UGGs for Christmas. Not the old classic style! No! I've asked for these!
These are the Ugg Kristin. Do you want a better look?
They're a little different from the Uggs of old. This is the new slimmer style - look how much slimmer they are around the toes. And because they are slimmer, I actually had to size up to a UK 5 instead of my usual 4. They look better on than the chunkier old style as well! Believe me because I've already ordered them for Christmas from the Grumps to me. We live in modern times. :o)

Last Note :
- There's lots of Black Friday offers going around and most places are offering 20% off currently which is the discount I got on them. Office are doing 20% off here with the code WONDER
Go Sue!! I love Uggs for their warmth... nothing quite like them. I looked after my last pair *so* well, mainly worn as slippers round the house but then, after 5 (yes 5!) years of never getting them wet, I was wearing them in the car for a long journey, stopped at services, it was dark... we'd parked next to the only massive puddle and... yup, you guessed it. Ruined!! I still have uggs, just the slippers though...
ReplyDeleteAt the end of the day, you can't beat a pair of Uggy boots. I have Uggy type slippers which I live in at home and I love the idea of being encased in something so snuggly on a cold winters morning too. They do the business basically. And shame about your Uggs, I would have taken them to the dry cleaners - I hear they offer a UGG cleaning service these days. x
DeleteI don't care what people say, I bloody love my Uggs. Sooo comfy for the morning school run. These look fab, but I don't need another pair. Probably ;p
ReplyDeleteI have one old pair of classics from when Ben was born. And a couple of years later, I invested in a pair of Ugg Kensingtons which were a little tougher and harder wearing. I just tried on my old classics the other day and they looked extremely tired ... which is more than ample justification for the new pair!
DeleteI have Celt boots (very similar) in black. I changed into mine yesterday, after freezing on the school run in skater boots. Sheepskin is soooo warm. These look lovely and warm, the soles look more substantial too. I'm going to be getting myself some sheepskin slippers (from my other half) as money are falling apart. Here's to toasty toes.
ReplyDeleteFor home, I wear the Kirkland brand Uggy boots as my slippers. I buy from the kids section (no VAT) and they're real sheepskin for around £20. I love them as there is nothing better getting in from a school run, kicking off regular trainers and skate pumps and popping a pair of snuggly Uggy slippers on. I am such an old woman. And I have to say, I've been reaching for Uggs most mornings these days as the temperatures have dropped. Sometimes you just need that little something extra.
DeleteOhhh I like, a lot. I've never owned a pair of Uggs but I'm seriously tempted with these. I hate it when the heel part of the old style basically just collapses and I don't think you get that with these
ReplyDeleteThese are definitely firmer and more supportive. The little wedge is a nice touch too to give you a little extra height. They are strangely flattering on!
