Park Lane Leather Toe Cap Espadrilles

Saturday, 5 July 2014

For all those who like my Topshop white and black leather Chanel'esque espadrilles seen here - here's another chance for you to grab a pair of lookalikes.

I wore mine the other day whilst out shopping in Leeds and had two shop assistants enquiring about them and I had to regretfully tell them that they were sold out.

Well look what I found on the ASOS website. Don't say I'm not good to you people!

  1. Funnily enough, I got rid of mine in the end (I have a horrible bunion which was just amplified by the softness of the leather) but I do love the style. Think I might have to have a look at the Park Lane shoes on ASOS now...

    1. Really? I know a few people who have bunions and I would have thought soft shoes would have helped rather than aggravated - but who can tell? I do love the pair I have - they seem to be enough of a statement without being OTT in the design. Have another try ….

  2. Hi, thanks for this find (again!) I would like to give them a try - can you tell me about size? Did you find they ran true to size? Thanks!

    1. Yes, I have the Topshop ones and mine are good and true to size. I always thought you couldn't go wrong with buying espadrilles - always a guaranteed fit as I had so much luck in previous years but this year, it's been quite tough. I've tried a few pairs of the H&M ones and they have been really uncomfortable which is such a shame as I loved the leopard ones they had and I brought a pair home but I couldn't keep them on my feet and I could feel the trims which hadn't been finished properly inside the shoe. Turns out when I spoke to the SA in H&M, they had been taken off the shop floor due to a fault in manufacture which explains a lot. But yes try with the Park Lane - and fingers crossed for you!

  4. This is spooky. I ordered them, a couple of days ago, and I am awaiting their arrival. If we ever meet up we better check what each other is wearing!! H xx

    1. That is spooky! And we seem to share a lot of the same taste in clothes which is great but bad for when we eventually meet up with each other!
