It's above 10 degrees ...

I'm getting my knees out.  I'm putting a dress on.  I'm gonna live a little and flash the toes.

Uniqlo 2009 White Linen Cardigan
H&M Tshirt Dress
Primark Tan Wedge Sandals

Fine stripes today

Red, white and blue, the boys love you ....

Because it's forecasted rain tomorrow .... again.

But today the sun is shining and my little H&M t-shirt dress which I picked up a few months back, when I thought summer was coming, gets it first outing today.  On shorties, it's a dress.  On giants (over 5ft 4), it's a tunic.  Either way, it's a bargain.  I don't mind spending £7.99 on a dress which I won't get that much opportunity to wear given the temperament of the British weather this year. It's quite thin, very plain and looks like nothing on a hanger but I liked it so it came home to live with me.  And despite being thin, teamed with a longer length cardigan, my wobbly bum does not offend anyone from behind.  Sorry, there are no links but the Cardigan was a 2009 buy from Uniqlo but there are lots of white boyfriend cardigans out there at the moment in the shops.  The H&M dress is not on the website though it was in store last time I looked a few weeks back and the Primark sandals - well I think they've well and truly sold out.  I think they came out briefly in March and disappeared just like that (a bit like the sun).

Anyone else giving their legs an airing today?  Before going back to the jeans tomorrow?

    1. Just no good with sunglasses though I have 4 pairs. They fall off my nose and give me cheek indents!

  2. Am staying in with a sick little girl :( So nope flashing my legs to the world. I'm really surprised that the dress costs a mere £7.99. I haven't been in a H&M in years. I'm exhausted just seeing piles and piles of clothes. I've seen incredible clothes on fellow bloggers only to find out that they're from H&M. Clearly, I haven't been looking close enough when I'm there.

    1. I have a look when I'm scouring for my boy's stripy tops in there. And some days you just hit lucky. Poor little L and poor you - you've only just recovered from your little bout. I'm off in to the garden to take arty shots now. Have a good rest of the day!

  3. Your dress is lovely! I still wore jeans today ... I was too lazy to do the whole leg waxing and fake tanning procedure involved before donning a skirt or dress:)

    1. Thank you - it has been a surprisingly comfortable dress but you really have to watch how you sit on the floor in it - luckily the young 'uns don't know the meaning of undignified yet. I'm also quite lucky in that I don't have any of the waxing and tanning business - naturally not hairy and not too white - still doesn't mean I get the legs out that often though! Especially as the hubs keeps going round trying to squeeze my knees and shouting "show us your knees!" as he's read today's blog post.
