Ahhh summer has arrived. The heat is on so I've kept it simple. A simple camisole and and old favourite French Connection denim skirt.
New Look Camisole, French Connection Skirt, River Island Espadrilles
What are you wearing in this scorchio weather?
It's a bit too hot for me given that I'm feeding- babies run hot! But simple outfits are my favourite. A skirt or shorts & nursing top for me in this heat plus a fan :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty cami - enjoy the weather!x
It's too hot for me and I'm not feeding babies! I agree that less is more generally and this is more me padding about the house. When I'm out, I prefer a light cotton blouse or shirt to take the edge off the sun and to reduce the chances of a tan - I go mucky coloured.
DeleteLovely outfit - the camisole is so pretty
ReplyDeleteBeccy : Bluebell & Bumpkin
The cami seems to be getting a lot of love - it got the seal of approval on my Instagram feed too!
DeleteSuch a pretty cami, can't believe it's from New Look - the shop of the moment it seems. You've dressed perfectly for this hot spell we're having. I must get my denim skirt out... Lynne x
ReplyDeleteI actually spotted it on the Asos website when I was looking at my kimono at the time. The two work well together too when I need a little coverage. And denim skirts - a must!
DeleteSuper cute cami and the perfect outfit for this hot weather x
ReplyDeleteI felt very girly in this and one of my fellow mums said I looked all lovely and summery apart from the black jersey cardi which I threw on in the morning to do the school run as the temperatures hadn't quite hotted up that much at that time. But the cardi came off as soon as I got through the door!
DeleteI am all for keeping it simple in this heat!! It's been a week of dresses for me Sue.....but I'm now inspired to get the denim skirt out again! Such a pretty top, I shall be able to steal your style once I dig out the top you've reminded me of!! xx
ReplyDeleteI should have known you would have something similar! I have to say, I use to wear a lot of cami tops but not so much in recent years. I may have to invest in a couple more!
DeleteYou look really lovely :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLovely Sue x
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLovely - the camisole is just beautiful - I can't believe I didn't bring any of mine on vacation with me! It's hot as hades here...I'm drinking gallons of water and peeing lots lol! xx
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could cope with the heat where you are! I can barely cope with the heat where I am - did I tell you how rubbish I am when it's hot and how rubbish I am when I'm cold? #nohope
ReplyDeleteLove that camisole Sue, it's gorgeous. Dresses and shorts for me, I am actually giving my legs a breather from jeans! x
ReplyDeleteI still automatically reach for the jeans but then remember I will be out of them within the hour - it's been so hot - that I might as well reach for the skirts or the shorts. Might be time to introduce some dresses in to the mix too!
DeleteBeautiful camo Sue, I love how you keep it simple. Trousers and work boots for me! But when I get home, uniform peeled off and shorts and a cool top x
ReplyDeleteOoh trousers and work boots - how hot must you be! I hope your vehicle has air con! Thankfully the weather has cooled down a touch now.
DeleteLove the cami! What size are you wearing please?
ReplyDeleteRachel - so sorry about the late reply! I am wearing a size 10 regular. I say that because I notice they do a petite version of this top too but I bought the regular before I spotted the petite version.
Deletecute look!

Ah - you're in to the winter season now - I can tell by the jumpers you're wearing. Don't envy us too much - it has been almost too hot - I've stayed indoors when I can!
DeleteI'm trying to wear nothing, but since "nothing" doesn't go well with public decency laws, I do put some clothes on. Silk, short, airy...anything that fits that description and allows me to breathe....
ReplyDeleteBTW, love that camisole.
Hmm "nothing" might be a little too much methinks. We'll stick with the light and airy. Less likely to get arrested that way, agreed?
