New Shades

Thursday 26 March 2015

Last year, I bought these. I thought they were fab and tinted with a smidgeon of sexy green coolness. Well, I'm sorry to say, they have now been usurped in my affections and my new favourite pair are these.

What? These rather unassuming boring black sunglasses? These are better than last years? Yes honestly .... look!

H&M Sunglasses

Look at that soft sexy pinkness. These are da bomb. These are da blush pink sexy bomb! L.O.V.E.

And I even paid a whole £2 more than last year's pair for them too! They were a whole £5.99.

But unlike last year, there is a link to them here online! Wonders will never cease!

So .... see you here for next year's new favourite pair eh?

  1. I love these Sue - the pink interior detail is such a pretty touch, and what a bargain too!

    1. They are aren't they. I couldn't resist - it's the little details. And the fact that they actually fitted on my nose bridge - not an easy feat. I'm looking forward to more sunny days!

  2. I do love this cat's eye kind of style shades, not something I would want to invest a huge amount in as I tend to be very faithful to my Rayban Wayfarers but I am going to give these a go Sue as they are pretty cute! xx

    1. I don't spend a lot on glasses as I have a tendency to leave them places and the small boy likes trying them on and his greasy prints are always left on them. So cheap and cheerful makes it less painful when I know they've been manhandled by the small people yet again!

  3. I have about 10 pairs of sunglasses - I just love them and wear them all year round (blue eyes are very sensitive to light). These are gorgeous!

    1. I didn't know blue eyes were more sensitive to light ... like white cats are more prone to sunburn? Well you learn a new thing every day!

    1. I tend to go for sunglasses which just sit comfortably on my non existent nose bridge. I end up with them resting on my chubby cheeks most of the time and then I get left with cheek dints which is so not cool. So if the glasses fit ... I buy them :)

  5. They have such a high end look to them. Lovely. I never think to look at cheaper sunnies (I am a label snob when it comes to specs of any kind.) I am going to look a bit closer next time I am out and about. H xx

    1. Oh I'm definitely a cheap and cheerful. The hubs has designer frames and I have Specsavers ... well I would have Specsavers if I found a frame I liked. So I have cheap frames from Hong Kong where the opticians are on every street. Lots and lots of choice!

  6. I thought they were going to be designer..they look fab. I bought a pair of round sunglasses from Primark this year for 99p..unfortunately it turns out that when the sun comes out I can't see through them (maybe that is why they were 99p!) Love yours though and the pink inside..sooo elegant!

    1. I have to say I bought 5 pairs of sunglasses from Primark last year and I think I have 3 pairs left. Some were 50p and and some were £1 but they fitted and it meant I could have them lying around for me to grab as I headed out of the door and I could always leave a pair in the car too. I'm just rubbish looking after sunglasses - I might be more careful if they were designer but I like to have different styles depending on what I'm wearing sometimes. I'm a bit like you - I like lots of different styles.

    1. It's just a little unexpected detail which I love. I'm always looking at similar pastel hued sunglasses as well but they just don't seem to suit me as much as the darker framed ones so I guess this is my compromise.

  9. My friends teenager broke my Karen Millen sunnies yesterday! She kicked a footy into my head & snapped them! I've been silently weeping since as I can't afford another pair atm! I'm going to have to have a look in H&M! It didn't knock any sense into me but I did see stars for a while!! x
