Last Note :

  • The Matalan camisole is a good buy for £6. It's double lined at the front unlike some which gives a little more coverage.
  • The black jeans are from Primark and it is their straight leg ankle grazer jeans (button fly). I've chopped the hems down despite them being supposedly ankle grazer length. They may be on some people but obviously not on me. I'm living in these as they a little looser than skinnies and are just a different silhouette for me.

A Not So Simple White Shirt

Friday, 1 July 2016

A good white shirt is not that easy to find. I've tried a few times actually and they can be a bit hit and miss. I've had a beautifully soft cotton voile one from Whistles which I let go just recently because I never wore it. It was a touch sheer and a proper pain to iron. I then gave a linen one from Uniqlo a go and that was nice to wear but it was too plain and consequently too boring. I tried again with an H&M one the other year - quite basic but it seemed to do the job but I never felt that that good in it. It was okay but I never reached for it like I do the blue ones in my wardrobe. And then I came across my latest one from H&M. With the sleeve ties.

Man, those sleeve ties do it for me.

They just manage to take my white shirt from boring to soaring. Yay!

Last Note :

  • I'm wearing a size 10 for reference and I am a size 10.
  • The cotton is more like the kind you would find on a man's shirt - so not too sheer.
