Navy blue jersey biker jacket.

Ooops! How did that get in there? It wasn't on the list! Happens to you too? I thought so.

There's a lot of these jersey bikers flying around at the moment and being discussed on various blogs - the perfect alternative for those nesh people who want a cover up but not a cardigan for fear of being labelled an old fogey. This one's quite thin - a no no for some people but a yes yes in mine because it's so easy to slip on and forget about. None of this tweaking and adjusting business. Too thick and the sleeves you just shrugged up come tumbling down again and won't stay put. Too padded and it feels like an out the door jacket and you can't move comfortably. This one? This one fits the bill for me especially at £12. Just put it on and forget about it. Just like an old favourite cardi. Goes with that little H&M dress of mine too. Bonus.

H&M dress (old)

So tell me ... who puts a sneaky purchase in their weekly supermarket shop then?

  1. I can't believe you found this in Tesco's. It's ace. I don't even chek their clothes out as I just assume it will be cack. Perhaps I should start rummaging. :)

    1. I breeze through the aisles and if something stands out then it gets a look in. And then we have to do a reccy on the fabric content. And if that passes, we might make it to the shopping trolley. Like this one :o) P.S. some of it is not good - but some of it is.

  3. This is so gorgeous Sue, have been on website recently but haven't noticed it, but online shopping is like that I suppose, you can easily gloss over something that's is great. I usually use my tesco vouchers for clothes so even better that supermarket clothes is FREE supermarket clothes!!! X

    1. We just happened to pop past a Tesco for something and it was one of the big ones and under the premise that George needed some cheapo crocs to kick around in, I got 10 mins to do a quick scan and sweep and scored!

      Free clothes. Cool :o)

  4. Gosh it's lovely - WAY nicer on you than the shots online. I honestly would have walked past it. Now am seriously tempted. And there's me trying not to buy cheaper stuff and save all my money till the end of the month for one nice thing...sigh..

    1. Avril - step away. You're doing well with the buying better and saving up. I'm doing a bit better but it's all one step forward and two back with me where improving my shopping habits is concerned. I like the idea of saving up but every now and then - I just need a little hit.

  6. We don't have a big Tesco near here otherwise I'm sure I would have some non-foods in my trolley too! That's a handy little jacket for this very changeable weather!

    1. Yes the big Tesco's and Sainsbury's are a little more interesting but so easy to get sidetracked in! And yes - a perfect light cover up for this schizo weather.

  7. Love it - I'm off to Tesco. Why wait for the food shop. Shows up as Tesco / Sainsbury's / whatever on statement - no questions asked ;-)

  8. I'm always sneaking stuff in the trolley - you've got to do it haven't you? Er - I wear cardies all the time (and as you know I am nesh) does this mean I'm truly an old fogey? :)

  9. Our local Tescos doesn't do clothes - unless you count pants and socks - which is a blessing and a curse! I have to drive 20 miles to check the clothes out - think I might check this out next time I'm "passing" though!!

    1. Is that a "genuine passing through" or a "sneaky passing through?" My nearest Tescos doesn't do clothes either ... I go a little bit further just to ease the shopping boredom.

  10. Spooky!!! I just did a blog yesterday on sandals from tesco. Am bloody livid I didn't see that jacket. Although I think I had the white version on my blog a whole ago, rings a bell. But avril's right, didn't look nearly as good as it does on you. I am wearing my leather sandals today with pride! Love them.

    1. Spooky indeed! And how did you miss that jacket? I saw the white version but it's not as nice as the blue which looks more expensive. Love your pedi with your sandals - lovely colour!

    1. You're coming all that way and you're going to go to Tesco's! I have to say it's really good for £12. I was looking over a few at Hush and White Company for 5 times as much (probably thicker though) and luckily this came along which I'm very happy with. Will be a nice cover up for the mornings.

    1. It's good for the price. I can't complain and sometimes you just need a light cover up which looks a bit more interesting than a regular cardigan.

  16. £12?!! That's bloody cheap! Funny enough, I was wearing my biker jersey jacket for the last 2 days.

    1. I've not seen you model yours fully yet. Seen it peaking under a jacket but not a full on twirl and whirl shot. All sold out now no doubt.
