Fleecy Insoles

Friday, 2 October 2015

Adidas Stan Smiths available here
Sheepskin insoles available here
Sheep - probably from the Pound shop :o)

Sorry, no fancy titles there or anything. This is about fleecy insoles. I've mentioned them before and I'll mention them again. It's now autumn folks, the mornings are nippy and the toes are now covered up. I like to tuck my toes into a pair of fleecy insoles - soft, warm and kind to your feet. They add a little bit of extra cushioning too to put a bit of bounce in your step #comforthack

I used to buy mine from Leeds market but the little stall that I used to go to seems to have packed up and I don't know where it's relocated to since they started a refurb of the market area. So I looked online and found a lady who sells two pairs for £3.99 including p&p. Done deal.

Or if you're posh, you can always go for the shearling Hunter version available here

Me? I'm cheap.

    1. We'll be needing them! This Indian summer isn't going to last much longer I don't think.

  2. I have some of those too and I second the fact that they're the best thing ever! I like to wear them with my wellies in the snow, otherwise the rubber can really chill your feet.

    1. I've got to the point that I've got quite a few pairs in different pairs of shoes and boots but yes, wellies will definitely benefit from these. They will certainly take the edge off!

  4. Good Idea. Will they wash. I would be fine but someone with smelly feet could end up being a bit niffy. Just saying. :0) xx (I guess at that price you would just buy a lot of them)

    1. I think it says you can wash them but at that price, I would just replace with another pair. Infact, I might order a few more pairs in as spares.

  6. Fab idea esp for a cold weather wimp like me! Do they take up room in your shoes Sue, making them smaller? Heard that the chippy is surviving the refurb!! X

    1. I guess they do a little but not that much actually if they are in trainers or boots. They eventually squish down a little due to pressure.

The chippy is on the outside - it looks like it's still going strong!

    1. Really? Well I never. There's a lot of people out there with cold feet then. Or should that be warm feet. I hope my size hasn't sold out - I feel I need to stock up!

  8. Great idea Sue, I need an insole anyway, as I find mine always slightly too big, and the thought of cosy sheepskin sounds sooh good!! xx

    1. Oh I love them as you can tell, to the point where I almost insoles in whether I need them or not. I like the cushiness too.

  9. I love the memory foam insoles from Primark at 99p a pair, sooooo comfortable & they add a layer of warmth to your shoes! I'd not thought of cosy sheepskin insoles though x

    1. I've not tried those but I think anything helps. I like their padded thingies (don't know what they are called) that I pop in to very flat ballet pumps for extra cushioning.

  10. You know I've ordered done already. Top tip, Sue! Lynne xx
