- Cover pot with foil lid
- Wait 4 mins
- Dish out
- Chicken Ramen - Ta dah!
Just hanging around waiting ....
I was talking to my friend L and she said "Have you seen those cup noodles in Sainsburys? They cost £2 each! Who'd buy one of those at that price?" Err ... ME!
Is it wrong that I've just eaten a twix and I could so eat that right now - starving!
ReplyDeleteNo ... I have had 2 Ski Strawberry Mousses. Now that's bad - I'm sure. And a strawberry Cornetto. I've got the munchies today ;o)
DeleteYum - love noodles - and anything with is better with spring onions and coriander - still can't call them scallions and cilantro after 13 years here!
ReplyDeleteScallions and cilantro? That's the kind of thing that throws me in a cookbook! I didn't know you'd been gone 13 years!
DeleteOh that looks lovely! But I am a teensy bit disappointed not to see you in your pinny cooking up a storm! Avx
ReplyDeleteI do not cook up a storm ... ever. I just about tolerate cooking. I have a mild phobia of poisoning people.
DeleteLOL! I had ramen noodles today too albeit ones from Thailand.
ReplyDeleteAwww - you would! Bet yours cost more than mine too!
DeleteI hope I can get them online with my Sainsburys shopping!
ReplyDeleteJust ordered all three flavours and on special for £1.59! Gutted I have to wait two weeks as I shop fortnightly and my groceries came today!
ReplyDeleteI've also got the other two flavours - I want to really try the pho as I have no idea what it is or maybe I know it by another name but not aware.
DeleteGot the Wagamamas cook book for Christmas. Nice pics but looks a bit time consuming. Will probably stay in the cupboard......I may buy your version of the ramen instead!!!
ReplyDeleteAny recipe which has ingredients and instructions going over one page is a no go for me. I do not like cooking! I like shopping though.
DeleteHa ha... hey there is nothing wrong with a nice quick cooking fix! Laughed so hard with your comparison to Jamie Oliver's version and the 'preparation' steps.
ReplyDeleteOh the hubs keeps throwing me these "15 min" recipes which I translate as between 30 mins and 45 mins instead so when it comes to feeding myself - quick is the way to go! Quick and convenient!
DeleteI can't believe these came out of a pot!!!! Impressed - did they taste as good as they looked?x
ReplyDeleteThey weren't that bad actually to say they came out of a pot although I would probably add a tad more water to dilute the soup base (a little salty otherwise). But on the whole - I'd have them again ... infact I bought the other flavours to try as well!
DeleteLOL, this one is farnie!!
ReplyDeleteFor your infor, I was salivating when I saw the pic. Unknowingly sold...to a cuppa instant noodles. :D
