What is it about getting a £15 discount Whistles card which makes you obliged to go in one of their stores and have to buy something to make use of the aforementioned card? Anyway, one beautifully wrapped Edie striped top from Whistles later and I am a very happy lady.... not that I needed another stripy top .... but this one is so very soft and so very lovely! And it's a classic sort of breton style, perfect for the summer and every summer after that too. And I can wear it in winter too as it's lined. Enough said. Sold to the lady clutching the discount card!

And little Ben (6) who was kind enough to accompany me on this shopping trip said it looked very nice so that's good enough for me. And I did not bribe him with any Hotel Chocolat chocolate drops to say that.
